In addition to being an epidemiologist at the CDC, my friend Seung Hee Lee is a rockstar chef and co-author of the book Everyday Korean.
She's currently doing a residency of sorts on the last Sunday of the month at Italian bistro A Mano in Old Fourth Ward, Atlanta.
Here are some behind the scenes shots of what goes into making a four-course feast.
Baby pumpkin dumplings with doenjang sauce
Korean "angel hair" with cheongjang (young soy) and summer bounty
KF tofu patties, strawberry-gochujang glazed rice cakes, pyogo mushroom
Featuring sesame cookies by chef Julia Schnider
Beef tartare with oysters and asian pear
More kimchi, more rice cakes, but this time with added pork belly...
Check out Seung Hee's instagram for updates on where she's popping up next!
